It is common practice for estate agents to ask for a fee when recommending a solicitor to their clients and the Govenment have called for this to be more transparent. We have never taken or given them and simply don’t agree with the idea. We’re happy to recommend solicitors and other businesses but only because we know that they will do a great job for our clients, not because we’ll get paid.
